I am a wife, and a mother to 1, she is 10 and a competitive cheerleader. So yes, that makes me a Texas Psycho Cheer Mom. She may be a bow head but I love her just the same. I started cooking when I was in elementary school (although not very well). I really don’t like to cook as much as I love to bake. I LOVE sugar… and everything about it! I love the way my house smells after I have been baking all day. I LOVE LOVE LOVE cake batter and raw cookie dough. I often find myself day dreaming about new flavor combinations, or a beautifully decorated cake. But even more so, I love the reaction that I get from friends and family when they take their first bite of my beautifully decorated cake! I am completely insane and try as often as physically possible to make every little detail from scratch. I do NOT use cake mix… NO WAY! That would be totally against my religion. I view my confections as an extension of myself, and I want them to be 100% genuine. And it means everything to me that both my husband and daughter truly appreciate all of the effort that I put into my creations; and they themselves take pride in them.
